Creating Confident Children

Mission Statement

Creating Confident Children
is the aim of the Preparatory Department at The Wallace High School.  Weaving the school’s CORE values of commitment, opportunity, respect and excellence into the NI Curriculum, we work alongside children, parents/carers and the wider school community to give every child the opportunity to develop his or her full potential within a safe, secure and supportive environment.  Our small class sizes, high-quality teaching, exceptional learning support and individually tailored curriculum enable us to encourage, support and extend every child’s academic and personal needs in order to create confident, motivated and ambitious learners.  Pastoral care and respect for all in the school is considered integral to the development and nurturing of our children.

...“The needs of the children are accorded paramount importance and the holistic approach by the staff to the children’s development meets their personal, social and emotional needs well.”

Education and Training Inspection Report (ETI) May 2013.
