In p7 we played a very important role in money week. It gave us the opportunity to provide the school with a fantastic fair! We were split into groups and each given £15 from Mrs Calo, this had to be returned. In order to return Mrs Calo's money, each group had to come up with an idea of what they wanted to sell at the school fair. We thought hard about what would be popular sellers, as we not only wanted to be able to pay back our £15, but we wanted to make a profit! Ideas ranged from chocolate fountains, tattoos, lucky dips, books and many more. After much discussion and group work, each team had made a decision on what they would sell. We were only allowed to spend £15 on our stalls, to ensure this, receipts had to be handed back in to Mrs Calo. After much preparation, we got our stalls set up and ready to go, we would be selling popcorn, marshmallows dipped in chocolate, a virtual reality experience, doughnuts, books, tombola, lucky dip, football shoot out, handmade cuddly toys and glitter tattoos! We invited the whole school to our fair, it was a huge success! Every class that came into the assembly hall was full of excitement and every team tried their best to persuade the buyers to come to their stall. Every stall was a hit! Not one stall was left without a crowd due to the excellence of our p7 salespersons and the quality of their products. As a result of this, p7 raised an incredible £545. Thank you to all pupils for supporting the p7 class!
