Please find attached below our Uniform List and our Uniform Policy. The Preparatory Department appreciates the support of parents in ensuring that children are wearing the correct uniform.
We collect and use personal information about staff, pupils, parents and other individuals who come into contact with the school. This information is gathered in order to enable it to provide education and other associated functions. In addition, there may be a legal requirement to collect and use information to ensure that the school complies with its statutory obligations.
The Preparatory Department recognises that, from time-to-time, pupils will be required to take medicine during the school day.
Should this be the case parents are expected to complete the following consent form and bring it to the attention of the Head of Preparatory or School Nurse through their child’s teacher for approval. Unfortunately medicine cannot be given unless the form has been submitted and approved. Parental support in this regard is much appreciated.
The document below indicates recommended action in the event of children or staff becoming ill or acquiring an infection. It also outlines the recommended absence time from school if necessary.
If you are in doubt please contact the Preparatory Department.
Welcome to our dedicated page for promoting Online Safety.
In Wallace Prep we believe the Internet can bring many benefits to our children’s learning. Just like visiting a swimming pool, or crossing the road, it can be a dangerous place, but we don’t avoid those activities because of their dangers – we teach our children how to do them safely.
In school, children will be taught age-appropriate lessons on how to stay safe online. Successful online safety teaching is best done through an effective home-school partnership and we therefore ask for parental support in reinforcing, at home, online safety messages. The resources and guides below will help you to do so.
We will update this page regularly with the most up-to-date information we have.
Together, we will work hard to ensure that your child is equipped with the necessary skills and ‘know-how’ to be able to utilise the many benefits of the Internet in a safe, secure and responsible manner.
